Almost everyone knows now that couple Beyoncé and Jay Z welcomed Baby “Blue Ivy Carter” into the world (Saturday January 7th, 2012) and now there are PICTURES!!!

Yes that’s right the couple do not appear to have sold images of their beautiful bundle instead choosing to release pictures on Tumblr themselves. The intimate peek of the new addition sent fans in a frenzy as many fake images had been circulated around the Internet (some even before the actual birth).

Here is what the couple had to say:

“Hello Hello Baby Blue!

We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support.
