Chunky Beef Stroganoff | Slow cooker

Check out this chunky style Slow cooked Beef Stroganoff recipe 

Preparation Time
15 minutes

What you’ll need:
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup flour
2 kg chuck or round steak, cut into chunky pieces
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 cup canned crushed tomatoes
2/3 cup beef stock
500g mushrooms, sliced
2 large tbsp sour cream
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method
1. Dust beef in flour, shaking off excess flour.
2. Heat oil in a large frying pan and cook beef in batches until brown. Remove and place in slow cooker.
3. Add remaining ingredients, except sour cream. Cover and cook on HIGH 3-4 hours or LOW 6-8 hours.
4. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir through sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve with pasta, rice or mash potato and some green beans, broccoli or other green veggies
