Baby Girl for Aussie Actor Chris Hemsworth

Aussie heart-throb Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky welcomed their first child into the world on Friday. The Avenger’s couple named their first child ‘India’ as they “love the country”.

Hemsworth and Pataky, who tied the knot in 2010, said they love the country and that’s the reason why they named their baby girl after it.

“We love the country and the name,” Hemsworth was quoted as saying in people.com.

“Having the person that you love by your side, and starting a family with them, is the best thing that can happen to you in this life,” Pataky, 35, shared. “You can’t ask for more.”

The baby’s arrival will just add to former Home and Away star Hemsworth’s success overseas, after The Avengers became the highest grossing weekend box office movie ever.
