7 nights with Sleepmaker Restore

After sleeping on what my husband and I believed to be a good mattress every night for the last 5 years we were starting to give up on the dream of once again having a good night sleep. Our Old mattress was a pillow top and we paid about $2400 for the mattress 5 yrs ago believing it was quality. We’ve never been 100% happy with it. I’m always hot, my husband says he rolls to the centre (or more like towards me) and we always woke up feeling like we haven’t had much sleep. We figured having 3 children under 6 was the main reason until I was selected for the Sleepmaker Performance Restore Mattress Review.

I couldn’t believe my luck when the email came through and even more so when this HUGE box was in the hall way when I got home from taking the kids to school. My husband signed for it and couldn’t believe how huge it was. Opening it was like Christmas… This mattress is almost 40cm thick!

At first I had difficulty with my fitted sheets as they basically only went over the pillow top however I’ve since purchased some amazing sheets that cater to the depth. The first night we slept on  the Restore Mattress the first thing we noticed was the added height it added (I have to climb up like your getting into a truck..lol) That first moment you lay down and get a feel of it is wonderful. Crisp new sheets on a soft yet still firm mattress was a great feeling and pretty much all I remembered of that night.

Yes, apparently my husband says I was asleep within minutes if not seconds after my head hit the pillow!  I woke the next morning at 5am after an uninterrupted sleep (hey, 5am is good when you’ve been able to get a solid sleep) and felt surprisingly well for the hour of the morning. My husband slept in until 9am for the first time in years!

After 3 nights like this I was starting to wonder just what this mattress was made of and what magic it held. In 5 years with our old mattress we NEVER slept so well. Apparently the Intense™ fabric allows a deeper and more relaxed sleep by freeing the body of static tension. The Cimatex Latex and Gel comfort layers help to moderate body temperature and relieve muscular pressure to assist in a more effective, deeper sleep. After 7 nights on the new mattress I have to say I feel pretty good. I mean it hasn’t solved the problems of the baby waking up 2-3 times but it isn’t making me hot and stuffy, I’m not tossing and turning because I feel suffocated by such a soft pillow top that has little support and the fact that I’m waking and not feeling so “blah” is definitely a major plus.

My husband has even had to start setting his alarm (which he hasn’t had to do since before the kids). He usually wakes achy and sore and always complaining that he’s slept wrong. Well this week I’ve not heard a thing…not that I’ll mention that because then he’ll complain about something else ;p

So after 7 nights on our new Sleepmaker Restore I feel rested and  better prepared to take on the next day. Thanks to Sleepy’s for the new mattress. If you’re in need of some Restoring sleep then head to your nearest Sleepy’s store and check out the Sleepmaker “restore”"- Dee, NSW
